Dr. Carson completed his undergraduate work at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, where he graduated in 1979 with honors and is a member of Alpha Omega Medical Honorary Society. He then completed a three-year residency program in Family Medicine at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Florida, which included pediatric training at All Children’s Hospital. Dr. Carson is board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice and has an additional board certification in Geriatrics. He is also board certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians(ABQUARP). He is certified by the FAA as an Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr. Carson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Florida Medical Association, the American Medical Directors Association, and the Pinellas County Medical Society. He is on active staff at Florida Hospital North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs. He is on courtesy staff at Mease Hospitals (Baycare) in Dunedin and Countryside and at Medical Center of Trinity. He is a Certified Medical Director of Long Term Care Facilities and a Certified Home Health Medical Director.
Dr. Carson enjoys boating, scuba diving, snow skiing, and traveling. He is a member of Rotary International. He and his wife Sue, have four children: Andy, Beth, Sarah, and Katie. They are members of the First United Methodist Church, Tarpon Springs, and are active in many community activities.
Dr. Elizabeth Carson is a board certified Family Physician. She was raised in Tarpon Springs where she attended elementary and middle school. At St. Petersburg High School, she received an International Baccalaureate diploma. From there, she attended the University of Florida where she earned degrees in both Zoology and Microbiology. She attended Ross University School of Medicine where she graduated with highest honors and received her medical degree in 2008. In June 2011 she completed her Family Medicine training at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. Her father, Thomas E. Carson, M.D., is also a graduate of Bayfront’s Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Elizabeth Carson earned areas of concentration in pediatrics, outpatient and inpatient medicine during her residency. She also received the Resident Teaching Award at Bayfront Medical Center, which was voted on by her fellow residents. She has additional interests in women’s health, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Elizabeth Carson is happy to be returning to her hometown of Tarpon Springs and the surrounding communities to practice medicine alongside her father and brother. She and her husband Brad enjoy swimming, SCUBA diving, water sports, traveling and cheering for any and all Gator sports!
Dr. Brandy Roose has a reputation of caring and compassion combined with education and experience, providing the best in health care. Her philosophy of service creates excellence in both patient care and clinical results. In 2001, she began her graduate studies at the University of Florida and received her Master in Public Health Management and Policy in 2003. She then enrolled in the College of Medicine at New York State American Branch, Israel, where her focus was Family Medicine and earned her M.D. in 2007. Dr. Roose began her residency at the University of South Alabama. In 2011, Dr. Brandy Roose joined Access Health Care and worked there until 2015 when she joined Carson Family Care Center. She focuses on Diabetic Care, Women’s Health, Pediatric and Adolescent Care, In- Patient Work at Florida Hospital North Pinellas, Routine Medical Exams and Preventative Health (Early Detection).
Dr. Brandy Roose is a Family Medical Physician for many reasons. She loves taking care of families as a whole and providing care to ages 6 through adult. She enjoys seeing the results of her treatment care, and she loves the opportunity to care for her patients. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Dr. Sarah Smith is Board Certified in Family Practice She received a Bachelor of Arts with honors at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana in 1997 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio in 2001.
Sarah completed a Rotating Internship and Family Practice Residency in Cleveland, Ohio. She acted as Chief Resident during her senior year.
Before joining the Carson Family Care Center in 2009, Dr. Smith was in private practice for one year in Cleveland, Ohio and three years in Brooksville, Florida. Dr. Smith’s clinical interests include Patient Education, Preventative Medicine and Women’s Health.
Dr. Smith lives in Tampa with her husband and two children. She enjoys swimming, running, volunteering at her son’s school and spending time with her family. Dr. Smith and her husband are active members at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church.
Geneva Palaidis is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. Her advanced in nursing concentrates on health promotion, disease prevention, evaluation, diagnostics within the primary care setting.
Geneva graduated from the University of Tampa in 2002 with a MSN degree in Nursing and an advanced Practice in Family Health. She has been in nursing since 1980 with a background in medical, surgical, infectious diseases and public health. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and remains an active member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association and the local chapter of Advance Practice.
Geneva is known by her friends and family as being a professional student, as she enjoys attending continuing education seminars in the evenings and on weekends. When not attending seminars, she enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her husband Chris, and her son George.
Deborah A. Triglia is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (A.R.N.P) with a Master of Science degree in Nursing specializing in family practice. Advanced practice nursing is evidence based medical care that focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, preventative screenings, evaluation, diagnostic testing and treatment to achieve patient wellness in the primary care setting.
Deborah graduated from with honors from South University , Tampa 2014 with a MSN Degree in Nursing and Advanced Family practice. Deborah has been providing nursing care since 1999 and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from St. Petersburg College. She has provided nursing care in a variety of health care settings including surgical intensive care, ophthalmology and school nursing. Deborah is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of the local West Coast Chapter of Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
Deborah moved to Pasco County, Florida with her family in 1971 and resides there currently with her husband of over 20 years and 2 daughters .Deborah spends her free time cheering her daughters on at volley ball and soccer games, piano recitals, school/church volunteer and spending time with her family and friends. Deborah also enjoys running, working out at her local gym and relaxing on the sandy shores of our beautiful Florida beaches.
Andrew Carson is a nationally certifed Physician Assistant licensed in the state of Florida. Physician Assistants work closely with doctors to provide medical care in the specialty of their supervising physician. PAs are trained in diagnostics, medication therapies, life style modifications, and perform other procedure as dictated by the physician.
Andrew received his Bachelors in Psychology from University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. He then attended Barry University’s Community partnership with St. Petersburg College for Physician Assistant. He graduated in December 2009 with a Masters in Clinical Medical Science.
In keeping with the “family practice” Andrew decided to work along side his father, where many of his early lessons about caring for people began. Andrew’s clinical interests include educating patients on their disease states, as well as assisting his patients with the psychological issues surrounding many of their illnesses.
Andrew lives in Tarpon with his wife Lindsay and his two children Michael and Avery. Andrew’s hobbies include swimming, sailing, reading, and helping his son Michael rid their yard of dragons. He is looking forward to seeing what wonderful things his children will end up doing with their lives.
